Events in Days Prior to Bid Period

  • 17th – 2 months prior: FDO bid opens in FLICA at 9:00 LDT.
  • 19th – 2 months prior: FDO bid award* in FLICA at 12:00 LDT.
  • 20th – 2 months prior: VAP opens in FLICA, and GLD designation period opens in FLICA at 9:00 LDT.
  • 22nd – 2 months prior: VAP closes in FLICA, and GLD designation period closes in FLICA at 12:00 LDT.
  • 23rd – 2 months prior: Recurrent training bid opens in Navblue* at 9:00**.
  • 25th – 2 months prior: Recurrent training bid closes in Navblue* at 9:00**.
  • 27th – 2 months prior: Recurrent training bid award in Navblue* at 17:00**.

Events by Day of the Month

  • 1st: Monthly bid opens in Navblue at 9:00.
  • 5th: Monthly bid closes in Navblue at 12:00.
  • 6th: DOT is frozen for the last six days of the current Bid Period at 12:00**.
  • 8th: CA bid awards published in Navblue* at 12:00.
  • 10th: FO bid awards published in Navblue* at 12:00.
  • 11th: DOT is un-frozen for the last six days of the current Bid Period at 18:00**.
  • 12th: Mis-award period closes at 17:00.
  • 13th: CA DOT opens in FLICA, CA Reserve Drop/Trade/Swap opens in FLICA,
    and FO DOT opens in FLICA at 9:00.
  • 14th: FO Reserve Drop/Trade/Swap opens in FLICA at 9:00.

Daily Timeline (Contract 25.L.)

  • DAY 4, Until 0930: DDL (Daily Drop Limit) due.
    0930: DAG (Drop Availability Grid) opens.
  • DAY 3 to 2: DAG open for deadhead assignments.
  • DAY 1:
    • 0930–1030: Trip drops close. Open Time frozen. Mgmt/No-Bid may add trips.
    • 1030: Aggressive Reserve opens.
    • 1330: Aggressive Reserve closes.
    • 1330 (NLT): Notify if not AVA (Available to Assign) next day.
    • 1330: Reserve assignments begin.
    • 1530 (NLT): Aggressive Reserve awards final.
    • 1600–2000: AVA reserves call for assignments.
  • TRIP DAY:
    • 3 hrs prior: No trades allowed.
    • 0930–1030: Mgmt/No-Bid may add trips.
    • Departure: Fly your sequence.
